Surfrider Foundation San Diego Chapter

I've donated a piece called "The Middle Path" to Surfrider San Diego's 9th Annual Art Gala.

Here is a description of the event: Set amid ocean breezes and the sound of crashing waves, an evening of beautiful art, fine food and drink, and coastal conservation will combine in an upscale affair when the Surfrider Foundation San Diego County Chapter hosts our Ninth Annual Art Gala at The Powerhouse in Del Mar.

The environmentally inspired event will include silent and live auctions of ocean and surf themed artwork from renowned local and national artists including Wade Koniakowsky, Jeff Yeomans, Neil Bociek, Tony Spineto, Kem McNair, Justin Hawkins, Alan Casagrande, Nathan Horner, Shag, Jay Alders, Stephen King, a photo slideshow from Aaron Chang and much more.

Here is a link to their blog:  http://artgala.blogspot.com/2009/04/middle-path.html

Another Notebook

On my site http://www.chrisrobb.com/ I have some of my notebooks/sketchbooks. My friend and site designer Forest Young created these cool little animations for me. Forest is the Design Director at Push http://www.pushhere.com/ and an amazing talent and creative and cultural thinker.
So I thought I would put up some pages from another of my books that hasn't made it to the site yet. I rarely create directly from a sketch but I find little nuggets of things I like or work out new things in these books. It's all part of the ongoing journey of marks and images that fill my pictures.
